The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM) of Visayas State University (VSU) has strengthened its diagnostic capabilities with its new acquisition of a Digital X-ray (DR) Imaging System for the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH).
The Digital X-ray system provides high-resolution imaging and dynamic radiography, enabling more accurate and efficient diagnosis of various animal conditions.
For Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students, the system enhances hands-on learning by exposing them to modern diagnostic tools used in veterinary practice. For VTH clients, it ensures improved quality of care through faster, more precise diagnostic services.

Funding of the equipment is made possible by the efforts of VSU through the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs. This initiative supports the university’s commitment to advancing veterinary education and clinical services.
This acquisition marks another step forward in modernizing the VTH and reinforcing FVM–VSU’s role in delivering quality veterinary education, research, and community service.
