Having about 20 chapters from different veterinary schools across the Philippines, VKV (along with the sister sorority: VLV or Venerable Lady Veterinarians Sorority) is a veterinary medicine-exclusive brotherhood which centers around elevating academic excellence not only in the inside of the campus but also on the outside. With several outreach programs, project coordination with other organizations and various leadership seminars across the country, the Venerable Knight Veterinarian’s fraternity gratifies itself by being able to produce disciplined and persevering knights with competitive world-class advantage.

In this venerable fold, we became knights with character. Developing the attitude and discipline for perseverance and personal integrity thus developing a thirst for the attainment of excellence in everything we do. One of the traits of being a knight that is part of this venerable fold, is the ability to keep moving forward and to continue to strive with our tradition, honor and dignity in mind. But most importantly, as we have unfolded our sense of discipline, brotherhood and camaraderie, we have progressed together with not only our brothers, but also with our sisters, creating a bond that lasts a lifetime.

The Venerable Knight Veterinarians Fraternity Xi Chapter of Visayas State University upholds dearly the discipline, perseverance and pursuance in attaining excellence in everything we do. We stand proud and strive hard to succeed in the field of veterinary medicine. We uphold kindness and respect towards instructors and students alike. We are continuously practicing good camaraderie with other organizations within and outside of the campus for the betterment and coordination for possible or future outreach programs and teachings.  We treat this organization and the people part of it as not only a brotherhood but as a home and family. “The harder we strive, the greater glory for the VKV-VLV fraternity and sorority”.

As a proud member of the Venerable Lady Veterinarians Sorority, I witness the beautiful thoughts and advocacies of the organization. It helps me understood how important brotherhood and sisterhood that last for a lifetime. And between the differences of the members, VLV teaches me kindness and respect towards others. VLV brings a lot of bonding that ties all members. It shows me family in same roof. VLV also helps me to be progressive student in this competitive world. VLV is a great factor for me in becoming a successful veterinarian in the near future. VLV will always be motivated in producing a good and an outstanding member.

The Venerability of the sorority will last forever and the good tradition of what we’ve started will move forward through the next generation with positivity in the succeeding years of the sorority.
