On Tuesday, 28 September, we celebrate the World Rabies Day 2021 (WRD 2021) with this year’s theme: “Rabies: Facts, not Fear”. The WRD celebration every 28th day of September is both a commemoration and a collaboration towards a common goal of eradiacting rabies by 2030 (Zero by 30). While we commemorate the death anniversary of Louis Pasteur who developed the earliest vaccine used to effectively treat a human case in 1885, we stand in unity raising awareness to eliminate rabies globally [Read more here and here].
This year, CVM has organized several activities in support of the WRD 2021 celebration featuring the Virtual Rabies Forum on Wednesday, 29 September 2021.
