The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine proudly hosted its 28th Pinning Ceremony on January 28, 2026 at Visayas State University Convention Center, a time-honored tradition recognizing the academic achievements and professional transition of third year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students.
Held in a formal yet celebratory atmosphere, the pinning ceremony symbolized the student’s readiness to enter the veterinary profession. This year’s batch adopted the Tagalog term “Sikhay” to embody their enthusiasm, passion, hard work and perseverance as they officially advance into the third year of the six-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program.
