Dr. Delfin E. Cabardo is currently a faculty member in the Department of Veterinary Basic Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine at the Visayas State University. Before joining VSU, he was a Resident Veterinarian of a pioneering veterinary hospital in Makati City and Cebu City for over two years.

His first assignment at VSU was as a Science Research Assistant. He earned his DVM degree from the Visayas State University in 2016 and placed 6th in the Veterinary Medicine Licensure Exam in the same year.

He handles the subject of Ruminant Production and Herd Health Management and Special Pathology.

Interest

  • Professional – With his clinical experience, he is passionate about small animal practice with interest in furthering it, focusing on small animal internal medicine. He is engaged in pro bono publico works in their neighborhood, providing services to those who cannot afford them.
  • Research and Extension – He is a component leader in an extension project called VET Mends: CVM Integrated Veterinary Outreach (Extension- VSU).
  • Hobbies – He is a running and marathon enthusiast. A member of SCRAMBLED LEGS, a team of diverse people with a cause not only for mental and physical fitness but also for environmental protection. In his free time, he loves to run and train with his team. He also is interested in arts and culture, technology, engineering, and wildlife documentaries. He fancy current events, politics, diplomacy, foreign policy, and the economy as well.
